Yoga

Yoga is mind and body practice with origins in ancient Indian philosophy and spirituality that can positively support many aspects of daily living. Yoga typically combines physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation to help individuals feel more connected with self and others.

In-person or virtual group yoga classes with a certified yoga instructor are now available for departments and sites by request.

Happiness is only accessible in the present moment, and the regular practice of mindful awareness and meditation encourages us to turn towards and make space for our present experiences so we can appreciate life and better attend to our own wellbeing and care for others.

Chaplain and Religious Services

Montefiore Einstein's Office of Religious Affairs recognizes each person as an individual with personal values and belief systems. They support the rights of the individual to express their values and beliefs by providing chaplaincy and religious services through which the spiritual needs of patients, caregivers and family members can be med.
